For me, making a leather wallet was a project I had long considered and it was truly a case of "the journey is more important than the journey" . It was a fairly inexpensive set and I made a lot of mistakes making the wallet but I learned a lot about leatherwork in the process. I plan on learning how to emboss leather, so I plan to lace up the wallet again and assemble it later. I think this is a very good project for beginners and I plan to tackle bigger projects soon.
