High-quality head for hard-to-reach spark plug tubes

The rear spark plug on my 2015 Subaru Forester is located inches from the inner fender wall and is battery locked. Replacing it requires removing the battery and a thin-walled 14mm spark plug cartridge, which is attached to a series of pivots. My first spark plug change was about 60,000 miles ago and it's time for me to change them again. The Renekton Magnetic Swivel Candle Socket has most of what I need for this candle built in. The only addition I needed was a 3 inch extension to reach the narrow spark plug tube. While I was able to get the job done again with the swivel jets I used last time, the new setup is stiff, making it easier to slide the spark plug socket onto the spark plug and bolt it down. Renekton's rotating mount has an internal magnet that keeps it in place. The spark plug is in place when removed and will hold it in place when a new plug is installed in the 12mm threaded spark plug hole. What the product description describes as a chrome mirror finish looks like a sandblasted matte texture which I prefer. High-quality sockets are never highly polished. In my experience, a shiny mirror finish usually hides a poorly made mild steel head. Even the packaging spoke of the quality. The outlet was wrapped in plastic, in a small plastic bag placed in a square box with the manufacturer's name on the bottom lid of the box. With 60,000 mile change intervals, this spark plug boot will easily last the rest of the life of my current car. and the life of the next car too. I look forward to adding the Renekton Magnetic Rotary Spark Plug to my toolbox. It makes changing the spark plugs on my Subaru easier and saves me a lot of joint stuff.
