Firstly, when you read car stereo reviews, you should understand that most 1 star reviews are due to poor installation. Stereos are easy to make, and it's actually pretty rare to get a bad piece of equipment. Surprised what the thing can do for the price. I settled on one of Revain's stock offerings and couldn't ask for more for less than $50. It came with all factory accessories, just like new. A piece of foam was missing and the remote control didn't work. The radios run better than the old Panasonic this replaced. It has a lot of power and the sound quality is pretty good. Bluetooth connects immediately, the quality of the connection via the stereo microphone is good. The screen is very responsive and clear. I've seen people say that there are no on-screen brightness controls, but they are at the bottom of the main screen. I leave it on medium and see it pretty well even in direct sunlight. The only two problems I have with this unit are: 1. The remote control doesn't work. It doesn't really bother me, but it's worth mentioning.2. No subwoofer control. There is an on/off switch, but that's about it. It is only controlled via the main equalizer settings. I'm used to that from more expensive devices. But for the price I can handle it. Unless you expect the features of a $600 stereo and know how to install it properly, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the bang for the buck with this system.
