The bristles on the brush itself are of good quality, however this product has one major flaw (at least on the unit I received). The small rubber coating at the end of the cable, which is supposed to protect the device from scratches, is not securely attached. Mine fell off almost immediately, and I only noticed this while looking for the reason I couldn't get the lint out of the bottom of the trap. This is another downside, the bristles stop about half an inch short of the end whereas it would be much more effective if they went all the way. Trying to remove the rubber tip pushed it even further into the dryer which now makes me nervous that there is only a loose piece of rubber hanging there.
