Review on ๐Ÿ ATLAS Throttle Assist - A Motorcycle Cruise Control Throttle Lock, TOP KIT by Philip Lindsey

Demanding and didn't work for me

I really didn't like this gas lock. It rotates with the throttle so the locking knobs face the ground when the throttle is rolled back. You have to change the position of the throttle lock with your thumb to activate the lock button, otherwise the buttons will face the ground. The locking button also seemed a little finicky. Sometimes it closes and sometimes it doesn't. I don't want to struggle with something to make it work. I have to say that it is metal and is solid. It might work for others but I am opting for the Vista Cruise which I had previously. My riding buddy gets a free atlas. The device is so tight that the throttle tube does not return to its original position when you take your hand off the throttle. I kept loosening the screw 1/4 turn and checking to see if it was loose, but it wasn't. I even unscrewed the screw just enough for it to come out. Also, it uses the thinnest friction lining with the lowest friction. Don't waste your time with this product. A very valuable lesson for me. Maybe I'll find a sucker who'd want to buy the thing.

  • Great design
Cons
