This thing was a waste of time and didn't work. It is clumsy to install and the internal thread was torn off. I ran to the hardware store and bought a slightly larger screw, 6x32, and recut it for this larger size. After it has finally been properly inhaled, the large friction pad barely holds the gas when the engine is switched off. It definitely won't hold up when needed on the Autobahn, so I took it off. Unfortunately as I had to tap the threads larger due to cheap metal I doubt I can return

Used top of the line model on a 2016 Ninja 300. There were some installation issues (mostly I didn't fully tighten the clamp and didn't find the correct tension) but once installed it worked pretty well. The only issue I had was probably related to the size of the bike and how new it was (strong gas spring), it felt like it was slipping and the bike started to slow down. I really didn't like this gas lock. It rotates with the throttle so the locking knobs face the ground when the throttle is rolled back. You have to change the position of the throttle lock with your thumb to activate the lock button, otherwise the buttons will face the ground. The locking button also seemed a little finicky. Sometimes it closes and sometimes it doesn't. I don't want to struggle with something to make it work. I have to say that it is metal and is solid. It might work for others

Other reviews say this installs in minutes, I have by no means experienced the same. Proper installation and configuration took 45 minutes to an hour. I used the thickest pad, but a medium pad will do. Care must be taken to attach the bottom clip properly for it to function properly, and also care must be taken not to snap or twist the tiny screw that holds everything together. I love this thing. I've driven it 300 km today since I installed it last night. I found it a bit confusing at first trying to install it on my throttle tube, a 2014 Street Triple R with Oxford heated grips.
