This item was in disarray. First, one of the spikes pierced the shipping box and ended up badly bent and blunted, the second also bent. These tips are the most delicate part of this stand and should be protected during transport. Someone tried to seal the hole in the box with tape but did nothing to protect the knob. When I unpacked it, I saw that the wooden shelf was cracked along the edge and had a long tear down the middle. The wood wasn't sanded so it could easily split the skin (which it did). Some of the welded bolts were bent so nothing twisted properly. A pommel had a sharp iron burr that could easily catch and tear the fabric or cut the skin. As soon as I assembled it and put it on the floor, it had a SERIOUS wobble problem. Probably because the parts couldn't be lined up because of all the crooked joints and one leg was clearly a lot shorter than the other three. This thing is iron, so there's no way to bend anything to where it should be. I could understand this sloppy build if it cost around $30. The quality of this item did NOT match the $100+ price I paid for it. Great inconvenience trying to put everything back in a broken box to get it back. The only good thing about it is the design. It's quite a stand. But he couldn't justify spending all that money on a wobbly, splintery, warped piece of iron.
