There are several manufacturers of this type of card. Most of them have PCI-e (version 2.0) as a system requirement. I think there was one that might work with version 1.0a. This card lists "every" PCI-e slot so I thought I might be lucky with my 5 year old Dell XPS 630i with PCI-e (version 1.0). Not correct. That does not work. Blocks Windows 7 Professional 64 on the login screen. Without keyboard (PS2); without mouse (USB). I'll hold on to the map. Might meet someone who can use it. I've read some good reviews of the card on Tiger Direct and elsewhere.
