This is the best luggage rack I've found to protect the back of my car from the dog and anything else I'm carrying in the back. It fits like a custom fit for my car (Macan) after I trimmed the straps that go around the rear seat headrests. The fabric is fantastic as the dog hair doesn't stick to it and is easy to remove. I also like the zippers in the corners behind the seats that keep hair and debris out of the lining. It's also very secure thanks to the front suction cups on the rear quarter panel, and the velcro strap keeps the sides nice to the carpeted walls of the hatch area. They even have pockets behind the left seat, and the flap covers the bumper well, protecting it from scratches. I only wish I had found this gem sooner! (I bought size L. I'm sure XL fits a big SUV well.)
