I am a new owner of the Silhouette Portrait and am experimenting with vinyl. While the coloring is great, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I'm guessing the metallic gold is old and has the consistency of plastic wrap. I've cut and changed settings a few times but it just wouldn't come off the substrate without cracking permanently. Not sure if this matches the Oracal 651, although it appears sturdier than the 651's silhouette. I've had better luck with the red and green sheets, but I really think I'll be going to a sign shop supplier from now on. For games, stencils, etc. It's probably fine. However, I would not use it for a project that I am selling.
