I am a new owner of the Silhouette Portrait and am experimenting with vinyl. While the coloring is great, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I'm guessing the metallic gold is old and has the consistency of plastic wrap. I've cut and changed settings a few times but it just wouldn't come off the substrate without cracking permanently.
