Review on πŸ•―οΈ Herodian Ancient Biblical Oil Lamp Replica - Antique (Vintage) - Large - Holy Land Market by Sandra Saksena

Different than expected

Visiting the village, Nazareth received a smaller oil lamp. Used wick and EVOO as fuel. Loved a clean burning lamp! Bought for home use. First use: gave off a chemical smell. Thought it might be a wick or frosting. They aired the house. Examined, cleaned, dried, tried again the next day, following the instructions for using old oil lamps (a wick of about 1/2 inch is allowed, etc.), using a different wick - the one bought in Nazareth. Smoked. (I don't know why. Maybe the hole is too big.) There will be no more lighting.

Pros
  • Replica of a Byzantine oil lamp found between Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Cons
  • Something different
