Bought for my mother in law when she was in the hospital. While bedridden, she had trouble holding the iPad. (Before we bought this pillow, we actually had to replace her tablet because her original tablet fell and the screen shattered.) The pillow holds the iPad fairly securely (it fits into a small ledge in the pillow) while being able to balance it in bed. She continued to use the pillow to prop the iPad up on the table when she was no longer bedridden. And it has pockets inside that can hold cables, headphones, and even the iPad itself for carrying.
