High rates of lemons from this factory

Bought a lemon. The arm didn't balance and the anti-skating didn't work at all. The rubber mat was also missing. My partner and I spent almost 2 hours troubleshooting and couldn't find a way to get it to work. The support rep was extremely unhelpful and simply copied the link to a YouTube video that we had watched several times. I've searched many forums and found that others had the same issue with the RT80, citing a large number of defective tables at the factory that made them. I go to the local record store to buy a record player. It's worth the extra money to hear it before I buy it.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • There are problems
