I bought these bags to use in my 1910 Gatco trash can which holds 2.9 gallons and is 7.5 inches in diameter (top and bottom) and 11.75 inches in height Has. This particular bin has a removable top ring to hide the liner. I've attached 2 photos side by side; one without the top ring to show how much of the packaging is actually stacked on top of the tin and one with the top ring to show the finished product. As you can see there is almost nothing left in the bag to roll it up before I put the ring on. This works well for me since I have a top ring to hold it in place. If I didn't have the top ring I think it would be too small for me. Without her...well...I wouldn't have had to push the bag all the way to the bottom of the jar and tie a knot at the top to keep the bag from falling into the jar. let me repeat. The pouch size is PERFECT for me with this particular container (please know I'm not a secret Gatco rep!) In my opinion, I don't think these pouches will work in larger or wider containers. . I know the item description says it can hold jars up to 9" wide and 13" tall, but I really wouldn't trust these glass bags larger than the stated dimensions. Enough about the size. The thickness of the material is just right for my bathroom and the gray color is just perfect for my chrome trash can. I hope this helps you!
