I ordered three sets of these candles in ivory because I really like the Smtyle candles I have bought in the past. However, I am not pleased with these new ones for several reasons:The ivory color is a lot darker than in my previously purchased ones, and the "flames” are not as bright (despite brand new batteries). The flame issue in the new candles appears to be because the little spherical lens that focuses light on the flame is farther away from the flame than in earlier models.Last, the battery compartments on most of the candles are slightly smaller than they should be. This makes it very difficult to put in the batteries. In some cases, the batteries cannot be fully inserted, preventing the compartment cover from being replaced. This also means that the candles will not sit flat.
