I'm a streamer and podcaster and this mic was a godsend. I switched from the Blue Snowball Ice mic and people who watch my show say it definitely sounds better than that mic. I love how you can choose from different patterns so you can pick up sound from either side of the mic or from all directions. I mostly use one cardio speaker, but sometimes I use one for both sides so you can hear the music from my turntable, which is on the other side of the mic. It's very easy to set up and sounds great. If you are a streamer I recommend you to download Voicemeter Banana for free as it will help you get the most out of this microphone. From the factory, the microphone is very sensitive and picks up the quietest sound. Voicemeter allows you to set up a "noise gate" which allows you to set it up so that only you speaking (or anything at that volume) activates the microphone and transmits the audio into your stream/podcast. I have a mic hooked up to a mic boom that attaches to my desk, but the stand that came with it works really well too and looks very high quality. I liked the red color and it looks great above my desk. It's so satisfying that I often try to capture it on a webcam video that I post to my stream. In short, you can't go wrong buying this mic for free. I even used it when I was making music. It picks up my voice better than the standard microphone (Sennheiser XS1) in the Reason 10 music software. 5 stars!
