Fixes an issue that would normally require a new laptop
does exactly what it says on the tin! A network card failed in a laptop I love, I already had an ethernet cable so this was a great workaround - the USB ports work great too. Just make sure you turn on your laptop/computer before plugging in the device. I wait for the login screen to appear before plugging in the ethernet or additional USB devices - the device heats up so make sure it's not next to your skin, I put mine behind my laptop on the table I use use and no problem. I also wait for it to turn off and the computer to shut down before unplugging it - I keep it in the box it came in as I have cats and it's the size of their toys - I defiantly recommend to my friends .
