I bought 3 of these for my wife, son and I to do off road SxS and Quad riding. The sound quality is excellent. The distance has not been checked. We tested indoors for a couple of hours to find that the technology isn't as comprehensive as the product description suggests. You cannot have a call with 3 participants at the same time, only a 1-to-1 conference. Switching to a call with another headset is done at the push of a button. I wasn't impressed that pairing so all three can communicate is a tedious process that has to be done every time the device is cycled off and on. Pairing only 2 is not very disruptive. I didn't do any field trials because they just didn't fit the scope I was hoping for. FM radio is great, but finding the right station isn't easy. If you're traveling, good luck with that. I have not tested the Bluetooth pairing. Returned them on the grounds that the 3-way intercom had no functional use for my expectations.
