Review on 🔒 Penn Elcom Lockable Under Desk Laptop Drawer for 20-Inch Laptops - Premium Sliding Security Drawers, Model EX-6171B by Mike Phillips

I found this drawer to be about 3/4 inch shorter than my HP laptop and docking port. What I did was drill out the rivets on the bottom and remove the palm rest. This gave me about 3/4 inch more than the laptop and dock ports combination. As I then proceeded to connect monitors and power cords to the docking connector, I found that the back of the 3 U-notch drawer was too high up at the bottom of the U-notches to allow a connection. happen and be able to close the box. After the drawer was in place I removed it from the drawer slides, got out my manual air powered band saw and cut off the back end leaving a short coil of metal which I covered with a JC Whitney door edge. When everything was assembled, cable connections and drawer latch were fine. I would advise the manufacturer to redesign the cable entry area in the box with large cutouts rather than three tiny U-shaped ones. But the box can be modified to make it work.
