That's an amazing price for one let alone two of these! They're firm even in the fully extended position (which is a very long time - I've never had to use them that way) and they quell the itch very well. My husband isn't as flexible as I am when it comes to reaching the back, so he prefers wood, which is easier to work with because the 'fingers' on the 'hand' are longer. It's not really a lot, but it means a lot to him. I have no problem with that, but I know what he means and you should think about it before making a decision.
