If you're like us, you've spent a lot of time learning about the different models of tricycles. We chose UL and overall we are very happy with the quality, maneuverability and "fun" factor for a child. The main deciding factor for us was the ability to throw the tricycle in the trunk of the car and take it with us. Park or grandparents house. This limited the model range to just UL and a few competitors. We chose the Tricycoo UL because it has leg supports that make it suitable for younger children. We never used rear-facing mode, but the footrests kept baby comfortable and secure when transitioning from a car seat/stroller to a more upright position. We've since moved on to clothespins, but it was nice to be able to use the Tricycoo UL before the child was big enough to reach them. At first I was worried it would be wobbly and difficult to control, but the best way to describe it is if the standard sidecar is a four-door sedan, then the UL is a sports car. Driving it is fun and sporty. The wheels are good on most surfaces including pavement, rocks and grass. Very rough terrain and things like going up and down curbs are more of a challenge than with our traditional stroller. It takes a few minutes and a reasonable amount of effort to flip and lock into place. Usually we have one person who takes care of pulling tritsika and the other takes care of the kid. It really isn't a problem with playground parking, but I don't think it would be practical for us to use it instead of an umbrella stroller on a crowded subway or at the airport. Our tallest family member is about 5ft 10" tall and can push comfortably, but a much taller person may need to crouch or bend down. Folding tricycles, for us it strikes the right balance between portability and adaptability. For longer trips, I wish there was a baby cup holder in the front, and it would be really nice if it had a stroller-like shelf for a purse. or a small diaper bag. We usually leave everything in the car instead of using a detachable storage bag. The adjustable roller blind has a large size and shape even on very sunny days. Safe.Baby finds it very funny and loves to look around and sometimes even steer! We love that it folds up and can be taken to the park or trail. it can be adapted to the changing needs of the child. and well made and worth a premium to take with you wherever you go.
