Before I start, I love this vacuum! Much of this device appears to be a well-made metal construction. It's a sleek design, simple, solid functionality. However. When collecting I noticed 3 minor flaws.1. If you turn the main head of the machine over, you will notice that the area where the bag attaches to the main head is made entirely of plastic, as is the vent/bag body that attaches to the plastic opening on the main head of the machine. A foam pad was used at the points where the exhaust pipe attached to the plastic manifold and was taped with double sided tape. This gasket slipped off center because the double sided tape wasn't holding well and when I twisted the two pieces together there was a gap for air and dirt to seep through. So I had to remove the bolts, center the gasket and bolt back on. A rubber pad would be nice where a foam pad was used. And I'm not exactly sure about the baggy plastic vent that screws onto the plastic header/head, I guess time will tell if it lasts or tears in that area. 2. The main handle/shaft hole set was not drilled properly and therefore not aligned so I was unable to get the sleeve nut through the hole in the shaft as it was drilled off center resulting in one of the handle holes. don't line up completely. So I drilled it myself, see photo. It didn't really take long, it was easy enough, so if you happen to find the same defect, just make sure you remove the handle from the vacuum cleaner before drilling it. Be sure to remove all metal shavings as they can cause major problems if they get under the skin etc. Wear safety goggles. I then used a damp paper towel to remove a small amount of metal debris. The elevation knob seemed loose and wouldn't align, I didn't have a Star Allen set so luckily I was able to turn it all the way back by lifting the unit up and making sure the plastic wheels were off the ground and no pressure on them, from there the knob much weaker and I could turn it to the right position. By the way, one set of these wheels is made of very good rubber, the other set of plastic. I'm a fan of non-marking rubber wheels. Not sure if rubber would work on either set, if so it would be nice to have all 4 wheels with non-marking rubber wheels. Ok sorry for the video, my daughter insisted on helping me review it. So I got a bit off track, but she helped me get back on track. It probably had to extend the 20 foot industrial cord a bit before she started vacuuming, but it worked out just fine. A good vacuum cleaner, having fixed minor assembly issues. Thank you for taking the time to read my reviews. I hope the videos/pictures help too. Watch after.
