Review on Farberware Nonstick Bakeware Bread 2 Piece by Candace Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly, it has cheap aspects.

They hit me. I've been using a different brand for years but they had to be replaced as I bake a lot. My current pans required me to turn them over and hit the counter hard to get the bread out. A little sticky on the sides. Always has. But these new pans were different. I flipped one over to get the bread out and when I was about to slam the pan against the counter it just slipped out! There is no power. No push. I did the same with the second loaf, and the same. I flipped it slightly and the bread just slid out. Now it's nonstick! One disappointment is all you need to remind yourself of what NOT to do. You have to handle them with kid gloves. No dishwasher tabs. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. Do not leave water in it overnight. Do not use over detergents. Dry immediately after washing (e.g. air dry in the dishwasher?). They tell you to treat them like valuable property! This should be printed or engraved on the ban, not on paper that can be lost. Think back to the days when clothes were attached to a small piece of paper with detailed washing instructions that no one could remember because each garment had different instructions on it. Then the marking of the goods became mandatory, and now it is enough to look into the collar and the instructions are there, you will never lose or forget them. So I find it really cheap to have instructions that are just a piece of paper. Another disappointment is that the instruction sheet is taped to the bottom with some sort of rubber adhesive that WILL NOT peel off the instructions. I always scan instructions for future reference and I can't scan this because the sticky stuff doesn't come off and my scanner feeds sheets and sticks when it hits the sticky raised rubber adhesive. If you keep your instruction sheets in a binder, they will also stick to the next page because the glue won't come off. Such a shame. But for now, it's a great pan for cooking as long as you keep all of those limitations in mind.
