Wonderful!: Bread and loaf tins

Great bread tins! Today I baked my favorite zucchini bread, it turned out perfect! I didn't sprinkle the pans either, I just poured the batter. That's all that was left in the pans when I took them out. I used a plastic spatula to loosen it and then flipped it over. The bread just fell out. That was about 2 minutes after you took them out of the oven. Fantastic product!

Pros
  • complete set

I originally gave this 5 stars because I really liked the smooth surface that everything I did didn't stick to it. But now it's been about 9 months and the coating is peeling off the pots although I don't use it that often maybe once every 2 weeks or so. I've also tried using non-metallic or scratchy accessories but the finish is peeling off and the metal underneath is rusting. Terrible for pans that are less than a year old!

Important note for Baker's on these pans

I bought these pans to replace some old Bake King pans. It's important to note that a US-made 9x5 pan is 5 inches from edge to edge (3.5 to 4 inches at the bottom) and 9 inches long at the top and about 7.5 inches at the bottom. Made in China, these pans measure 6.25" wide from rim to rim and 4.5" wide at the bottom. An inch longer. If you are used to baking American bread or rolls in the 9x5 format, this will rise less than usual due to the extra width and length.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Long time

Sturdy pans, heats evenly

My husband wanted to bake his own bread and we didn't have pans so we bought this pan x 2. We love these pans, they have some weight but aren't heavy. My husband loves to bake bread from scratch knowing the ingredients are fresh and no preservatives are added to the dough. Therefore, these pans are used at least once a week. Even bread! I've attached a picture of the pans and you can see the loaves of bread are nice and golden brown on top. There is a good even cook on the bread. I think we'll…

Excellent quality frying pans!

These are GREAT bread pans! I've baked many different types of quickbread in it and the bread just falls out when it's done - practically no washing required! I have a habit of hand washing all my new pots - I don't want to rust, I don't want to lose the coating, and they're so quick and easy to do that it takes practically less time to do a quick wash and dry them, then you have to wash them in the car dishwasher! I have replaced all of my ten year old bakeware and most have been replaced with

Surprisingly, it has cheap aspects.

They hit me. I've been using a different brand for years but they had to be replaced as I bake a lot. My current pans required me to turn them over and hit the counter hard to get the bread out. A little sticky on the sides. Always has. But these new pans were different. I flipped one over to get the bread out and when I was about to slam the pan against the counter it just slipped out! There is no power. No push. I did the same with the second loaf, and the same. I flipped it slightly and the…
