What about the big stubble powder?

The attachment I tried was incredibly hard, like the brush you used to clean your grill the first time I used it. The second time I felt it might get softer as I used it. However, I did find that when dry the bristles would shed a layer of powder if I ran my finger over the bristles. I thought it might be dried toothpaste from the first use but I took a new head out of the box and it did the same. He sent a great cloud of fine dust. I've never had natural stubble, is that normal? But that didn't inspire confidence. I'll do more research when I have time, but I'm not interested in putting it in my mouth.
