I have thick curly hair and am in my forties. I never had this problem when I was younger so I attribute it to perimenopause and it was interfering with my sleep a lot. I have a cooling pad but even that got hot in the middle of the night. Last night after putting these pillowcases on, I put pillowcases back on for the first time in a long time. Even in autumn, when the heating was turned off at night, I was so hot that I slept on a blanket and was still hot! I woke up last night with a bit of a cold and got under the covers with no sweat on my hair and cleavage. I never thought I'd be so glad to wake up from the cold, but it was great to slip back under the covers and fall asleep comfortably and not sweaty. Now if only I could convince my husband that we could use sheets made from it.
