It seemed like a good deal so I took a chance. Right out of the box I noticed that the screws holding the handle were loose. Tightening them is fine, but obviously it shouldn't be necessary. I decided to give it a try by filling my air tank with 5 gallons. Turn it on, set the cutoff to 118psi, attach the hose to the tank and let it do its job. It started to fill up the tank fairly quickly and was surprisingly quiet, but the higher the PSI the slower it got. It was expected. But after running for over 30 minutes, it only filled the tank to 94psi and the pump felt pretty hot. I let it rest and cool. When it cooled I plugged it back in (I lost 1.5psi when I disconnected/reconnected the hose) and let it run again. After about 20 minutes the pressure in the tank had risen to 93.5 psi. I'm sure it would be fine for general use in cars and SUVs, but if you need a 100+ psi pump, this isn't for you! I will return it and spend the extra money on something better.
