This product suits me perfectly. It's quite large, which of course means it takes up a bit more space in the fridge, but I think it's worth it if you've got a big cake. This holder differs from others in that it doesn't snap into the base and doesn't have a handle on top. This in no way affects the ability to keep the cake fresh. I actually prefer not to have the handle on top as I think holding something by the lid only spells disaster if it breaks or you forget to close it all the way. This design is simple with no parts that can break or become unreliable. The top snaps on and off easily and securely and is very easy to clean. If you need a top handle like other holders do, look elsewhere, but consider if you still need this feature. Consensus: These are no-frills staples that will hold the cake and do it well. A tip from Ina Garten's head: before frosting the cake, line the edges of the base with parchment paper so any sprinkles can be easily removed with the paper when you're done and your presentation looks nice and tidy.
