This monitor was fine. I went from 60hz to 144hz and I can see a difference in smoothness, for FPS games it's very good, it allowed me to react faster and more accurately since I disabled vsync and capped the frame rate at 144hz , the input lag was gone. However, it is more difficult to use the 144Hz refresh rate in many games other than FPS (which are usually not very demanding). So I weighed the difference and brought this monitor back to a 1440p 60Hz panel. The new monitor I have is fine with me as I changed some settings in my GPU settings to reduce screen tearing. 144Hz is still what I was aiming for, if a 1440p 144Hz monitor didn't cost that much ($500+). I like the clarity more, plus the IPS panel. I noticed a color difference between the IPS and TN-VA panels on this monitor. The colors looked a bit washed out and I had to keep changing the settings to make them look pleasing at all. However, the blacks were too dark (I tried Black Boost) or when I added Black Boost everything was even more washed out.
