Review on 🔨 High-quality B&C Eagle ABCS-1516 15 Gauge Galvanized Flooring Staples - 2" Length x 1/2" Crown (1,080/box) by Peter Parks

I ordered these 2" ABCS1516 staples to hold together a 3/4" thick oak floor I was laying. This was my first experience with hardwood floors, so I did a little research on the internet first. One thing I read was that the floor braces were coated in glue to hold them to the sub floor. These staples were listed as "coated" and had what appeared to be yellow glue (in Revane's photo). So I was a bit worried when they arrived without the yellow envelope. I emailed B&C Eagle about an apparent inconsistency but figured I was wasting my time and would never get a response. However, I was wrong because within half an hour I received a message from TWO different people in the company! One of them was apparently an engineer who, after informing me that they now use clear glue, explained to me that the glue was actually intended to hold the clips together and its effect on holding the clip in place was extremely low. The other answer seemed to come from someone in the sales department as it mainly focused on their excellent quality control, guaranteed satisfaction, etc. It was good to know that my flooring work would not be affected and I was impressed with B&C Adler's timely response. The staples themselves worked flawlessly in my Freeman FL618BR pneumatic nailer. I recommend both staples and a nailer.
