On the road for a few months and no problems. Easy installation, all included. It sounds loud and powerful when the car starts. Very different from the factory starter and a bit annoyingly loud "whirlwind" noise at first, but does the job. I heard it's also a starter for agricultural tractors, maybe that's why it seems so powerful. Some participants in my study calculated (estimated?) that their lifespan is 2 years. I don't know what they are basing this on, but the cost of a starter elsewhere and the age of the car make it a worthwhile investment for me. I had an experienced mobile mechanic install mine and he got both the old and new starters up and running in literally minutes.
