I first tried to buy this product directly from Sunfounder but the 30% code sent to me didn't work the first time. They sent me a second one, but that was also a problem. From that moment on, no matter how many times I emailed them for help, I never heard from them again! I wanted to use this product as a prototype for an IoT course at a college with the intention of buying many more if the solution works as advertised. The organization I work for bought the device through Revain and we had to test it. To date we are unable to mount SSDs sequentially or otherwise, or save the OMV configuration. I have sent a support request to sun-founder and again have not received an answer. We understand that OMV is not a product of their organization, but our request should be considered at least in terms of hardware. At this point and time, due to the potential need for help and lack of response from Sunfounder, I strongly advise you to stay away from this product, unless of course you are a qualified IT professional who can easily understand many of our quirks found. previously found with this device. Sunfounder, we really wanted to love your product, but there is such a thing as timely customer support, and from the start you seem very lacking in that regard. I hope you change your approach because you have suggested some very interesting solutions. April 2020 Update My issue has been resolved. So I'm updating my original review to "everybody deserves a second change". I've been in contact with another Sunfounder rep over the past few months and no matter how long it has taken, this rep has been noticeably more receptive and responsive. To fix the problem, she shipped me a new device and then made sure that (a) I received it and (b) it worked as expected. The replacement worked out of the box as expected. Regardless of my experience, this is a great product for anyone looking for a home or small office NAS solution. So I recommend the product and I hope that my experience was just an atypical situation with the seller.
