I received a Brondell bidet toilet seat because I had major knee surgery and needed to install it over the toilet seat booster that raised the seat 3 1/2 inches raised The bidet I used, which fits under a regular toilet seat, could not fit over a booster. Brondell works flawlessly for this purpose and I have no complaints except one and that is what the company offers. The bidet is operated by turning the handle, which is initially self-cleaning and then works normally. The sound of running water is very different from the self-cleaning part and normal operation. But it's still possible to get past the cutoff position or not quite reach it if you're not careful. This position is marked with a solid black line. When looking at a pen, it's almost impossible to go wrong. However, if you're in a dark bathroom with the lights off, the black line is useless and you'll have to rely on the sound. My wife has missed the shutdown mark twice for some reason. After entering after the first time there was a large pool of water on the floor where the self cleaning cycle was on. The second time around, the self-cleaning cycle barely started and water dripped into the toilet but didn't hit the floor. My suggestion is to indent this black line slightly so you can tell by feeling the handle that the black line is vertical. Right now it feels like it's impossible. I almost took off a star but felt that was too much for a great and very affordable product.
