Review on Silicone Chocolate Cupcake Bakeware Kitchen by Anna Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Entertainment potential is the best in the kitchen and dining room

Ugh like a nice grandma I bought these to make overpriced "cocoa bombs" with my granddaughter as a fun quarantine project. "Fun" doesn't really apply here. The mold worked great, we "painted" the chocolate in two layers to get the strength/thickness we wanted and put it in the fridge between layers. When cold, the chocolate hemispheres separate easily without breaking. Filling them as best you can with the hot cocoa mixture and marshmallow bits, then melting the edges so the two sides can be glued together was doable, but not easy. An hour later we had three cocoa bombs. Small cocoa bombs. Maybe I should have looked for bigger shapes. After using them in mugs of warm milk, we found that it was better to just add them to a mug of hot chocolate for an extra treat. I have enough melted chocolate to make another 9 or so but so far neither of us have offered again.

Pros
  • ● PREMIUM APPROVED SILICONE PROTECTION: 100% food grade silicone molds, you just pinch when they turn white, this is not a European standard, these silicone cupcake liners never turn white
Cons
  • More interesting options.
