Premium Salt and Pepper Mill Set is larger than shown. In comparison, each glass is about the size of an 8-ounce glass of juice. The glass containers are thick. Dust caps prevent spices from flying all over the place and keep dust off the top of the grinder when not in use. The grinding mechanism is positioned vertically rather than on the bottom, which is always a thoughtful feature. The grinding mechanism consists of a white feed screw, a metal spring, a clear plastic washer (hard to see) that fits over the feed screw, and a black wing nut at the top. Time will test the quality. The chrome stand feels sturdy. In general the parts are in good condition. Rated four stars for the fact that there were no assembly/filling/setup instructions inside or on the packaging.
