For the price, it's a fun toy for children and teenagers. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 11 year old son and he sailed it in the lakes in front of our house and he enjoyed it. The durability of the boat I would say is pretty good since it goes really fast and it's easy to bang on the side of the lake, which is concrete. The battery is a little hard to take out and put in. Overall I recommend it as a fun toy.

I purchased 2 of these boats to race against my son who has a nice pond at this home. I am not very coordinated when it comes to running remotes. I found it to easy to figure out and I was able to make the boat go. I like that each boat comes with 2 batteries. Haven’t run out of battery yet with one but nice to know I have a back up. Boat was everything I was hoping for. I’m not ready to race my son yet but give this old mom a few more times and I will be.

Boat works well, so far so good. False advertising with it appearing to come with two batteries - just had one. The boat’s propeller is prone to getting tangled in debris!

My son was begging for a remote control boat to drive on our pool. I went through two others, which were lemons, and then finally go this one. For the price, it performed much better than others we tried. But it is still definitely not without a few issues, like steering not being precise and battery life being fairly short. We bought this for our 9 year old son. He loves using it in the pond. He said it is fast but of course he would like it to be even faster. The remote control was very easy for him to learn. The only downside is the battery life. He used it a lot when he first got it and now the batteries don’t hold a charge as long as they once did.

A fun toy that both of my boys love (ages 10 and 13). We did have a problem with one of the boats, it was not able to turn in circles like the other. It’s usb plug also broke but we were able to get it replaced easily. When using the boat the motor will often turn down so you’re not able to drive the boat, forcing you to get in the water to retrieve the boat to switch off and on. So I wouldn’t recommend driving this in a pond or lake that you cannot swim in or it could become stuck.

This was purchased as a gift for our 5 year old grandson to use during a family vacation. A lot of fun to operate, trim needs adjustment every trip but not a big deal. Low battery mode lets you get it to shore. Latch leaks in a bit from top but hasn’t effected performance. A few more bucks would get a larger boat. I’ve purchased 3 now and the other two are a bit nicer
