Great for growing plants
I bought this for a 4 gallon cube tank that didn't have enough light. This led to a huge improvement in cube plant growth. Now there are plants that were not there before. I cut out a piece of cardboard and placed it on top of the cube's clear plastic lid to provide some shade for my rooster. The only downside is that due to the strong light, a small amount of algae started to grow on the glass.
