I have used this in the gearbox on my 2007 Mercedes GL450 and it shifts much better! Transmission no longer feels spongy or sluggish. It feels stronger and responds better to the accelerator pedal. I've only driven about 1000 miles with this fluid, but if it lasts 60,000-70,000 miles I'll be very happy. I also noticed an increase in fuel consumption. After switching to this liquid, consumption increased by about 1.0mpg. The last gear oil I used was Pentosin ATF134. It was supposed to be "specifically designed for Mercedes 722.9 transmissions," but that made the shifts feel weak or not as harsh as they should have been. This made the transmission feel sluggish and less responsive. Weak and less responsive substances were observed immediately after switching to pentosine and not after its degradation. It also only ran about 30,000 miles before it had to be replaced.
