I didn't want that bright light staring at me at night or when I wanted to take a nap. I didn't want to blink when I wasn't wearing my glasses. So when I came to Revain, I wanted something that looks like a clock, works like a clock, wakes me up like a clock BUT doesn't have the ugly look of a clock. I was skeptical when I saw this item. I figured there was no way the numbers were going to go away. I'll try this review and come back if I'm not satisfied. Well, good luck getting that out of my house. I plan on getting about three more to place in different places around the house. They merge and have no fixed face. Although you can easily change this and the face is always on. I love that the sound, like snapping fingers or clapping hands, makes your face light up and you can see what time it is. If you're a light sleeper like me and wake up, I just click on the bedside table where the clock is and I see the time, in no time my face goes dark and I'm back in the happy land of REM. My wife liked the look of the watch as well as the texture and finish. In summary, I love functionality, practicality and the dark dial. My wife loves that it doesn't look like an ugly alarm clock, looks well made and is very easy to use. As I said, we plan to buy another three.
