so easy even a caveman can handle it

gets the job done. Easy to use, only 3 buttons. an on/off switch, a button to toggle between millimeters and inches, and a reset button. Nothing fancy and gets the job done. Smooth gliding and tenths of a millimeter accuracy, which is more than sufficient for normal housework.
