So in general it seems to be heating as it should, although the heating slider is buggy. If you put it in the off position it won't turn off and sometimes it won't even switch from warm to hot. It's fresh out of the box. The only way to turn it off is to unplug it. The hassle of returning things and getting a replacement or refund is just more than I want to handle, so I'll be content with just turning it off. The description is correct so I gave it two stars anyway, but a faulty switch and potential safety issue cost it three more. I don't usually complain, but I had hopes for this heat gun. Spring.
