Blackburn advertises them as the easiest rack to install. It is true! All I needed was the Allen key that came with it. The rack seems to be infinitely adjustable (well thought out design btw) so it fits almost any bike. A spirit level can help level your bike rack if you don't want to just look at it. My Jamis Expat has many eyelets for mounting, but Blackburn has bike mounts without eyelets. Blackburn racks are bulletproof. My old Serratus baskets fit perfectly. I almost bought a different brand of suitcases - I'm glad I didn't. I've had the EX-1 for 20 years and it's strong. The bike he's on. Not as much. To be honest, I can't think of any cons with this product. Maybe if you don't like black shelves.
