This toaster has some nice features including a compact anti-fingerprint design and a warming tray that opens from the top to warm up crescents. Toaster, I didn't like it as much as other users. The directions state that using setting #3 will yield golden brown toast. Well, the parts of the bread that he actually toasted was only where the three heating elements were, leaving three toasted strips with gaps in between and not toasting the rest of the bread. I even used the "Defrost" setting as suggested when using bread from the fridge. Both sides were roasted in the same striped way. I had to run the bread on level three a second time to toast most of the bread, but the outside edges still didn't brown. Other "cons" for me are that there is no bagel setup and the power cord is very short. . I suppose playing with the toast settings they call "color" can result in a decent piece of toast, but if they recommend a setting that should produce a golden brown color then just three toasted streaks on the bread toast, I am not inclined to disturb it any further. I have to say the heating grid is something I haven't seen in any other toaster and it's a nice touch.
