Review on Elgood Reusable Dishwashing Cleaning Kitchen by Steve Fields

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best I've found

I've literally tried so many dishwashing mitts (from Amazon, Walmart, grocery stores, etc) and these are by far the best I've had. found. I bought this set 3 times. Along with other pairs on the market. The ones that are comfortable inside just seem like giant nails and aren't functional, and the ones that actually fit my hands well are usually too thin, irritate my skin, or have some other problem that makes me unable to use them . . I recently bought some of the Playtex as I needed it badly and in less than a couple of hours my thumbnail was tearing the glove apart (and no, my nails are neither long nor pointy). Another pair I recently ordered from Revain from another company were immediately sent back because they smelled so rubbery/plastic I was fed up with the fumes. The most notable PROS I would say are: too big, small, thick, thin, etc.) 2.) are actually functional, meaning they aren't so hard or thick that they seem useless. I like it when gloves feel like a protective layer against my skin so I can do anything I could do without gloves. 3.) thick enough to protect against extreme heat - I like it, especially when washing dishes in hot water as hot water can irritate my eczema. 4.) non-irritating materials - I am allergic to latex and am extremely sensitive to most plastic materials. So far these gloves have not caused me any irritation. Disadvantages 1.) The top of long, stretchy gloves can pull a little on the biceps. 2.) Can get a little hot. The only reason I had to buy them 3 times is because I'm hot and sweaty and the inner lining is starting to wear out. However, I'm not sure you can expect rubber gloves to be breathable.

Cons
  • Requires an outlet
