very fat; Very Clear

I am satisfied with my Lasten Clear UV Resin order. It should be noted that my order was not marked with the brand "Lasten", but with the brand "Magicdo". My first impression is that the resin is very thick yet comes out of the tube very clear. I find this particular UV resin packaged much better than many other brands. Safety instructions are printed on the packaging and are also explained in the accompanying booklet. It is very important to have a good understanding of UV resin precautions and limitations before beginning a project. I also found a contact email address on the package for any further questions or concerns. This is helpful for me as I like to read the MSDS before I start using a new resin product. UV resin is very different from epoxy and should be used in very thin layers for much smaller projects. Ideal for domed pendants and small castings. It must have full light transmission to cure. Therefore, ensure that pigments and inclusions do not block light penetration. Too many additives, layers too thick, poor humidity or temperature and some other factors can cause UV resin not to cure. I do initial testing of all new UV resin products the same way to be able to honestly compare and contrast. I always make 1cm diameter beads in the same transparent silicone mold. Mine didn't produce any bubbles as I didn't inject them. I used this with a separately purchased 5ml dropper to allow air to rise before placing the resin into my mold. I cured under a 36w lamp for 3 minutes. This resin hardens crystal clear. It is important to understand the limitations of UV resin as it is sensitive to temperature and humidity. Detailed instructions can be found in the attached brochure. I appreciate everything that comes in the box as the mug, small mold and other tools are incredibly useful. There is a pair of gloves, so make sure you have more gloves on hand before starting a project. I work on a small silicone art mat and wipe down with isopropyl alcohol and baby wipes. I take great care to be safe with any resin product. I use this in my garage either under a hood that goes outside or with the garage door open with a fan to push the air out around my workspace. I make sure to cover exposed skin, wear gloves, safety goggles and a respirator. Uncured resin usually has an unpleasant odor. I keep the tube in a Mylar bag between uses, it contains a scent. The quality of the resin, the manual and tools included make it very valuable. I only recommend this for adults. It is not suitable for children or anyone unable to defend themselves. I hope my experience is helpful and please click the button below.
