Review on Heatshield Products 770001 Shield Adhesive by Brian Weese

I used it as a heat shield under a motorcycle's gas tank. Works very well - no more hot petrol. It also has a carbon fiber-like look, which is nice if you like it. Tips: - If you use multiple pieces to cover an area, don't think you can cover them. The glue is very strong, but it won't stick to real material. The cut edges will fray - depending on the application, you can apply some nail polish or glue to the edge to keep it from fraying. I wouldn't recommend this for really high temperature applications as it can cause a hotspot (or just burn out). However, I'm not an engineer, so take this advice with a grain of salt :)
