I bought this for my boat as it is suitable for powering low power devices like laptops on my boat. I've found it also powers my flat screen TV, 25 inch I believe. An added feature is that it has an LED screen that lets me know the relative load, a nice feature. The boat also has a large inverter, but there is no point in using it for small things because it consumes a lot of electricity when it is on. It's meant to be installed and it would be nice if it had optional rubber feet to put it on the table if needed, which I do. I just added sticky buttons at the bottom to keep it in place.
