Exactly what you would expect. They are perfect when you want the object to hang straight on the wall. There is no need to drill a keyhole in the tree. Simply attach with the included screws and slide over the head of a nail or screw. I assume there is about 2mm of room for a flat round nail or screw head. Once a painting or other object is attached it is very secure and will not come off the nail. I usually use two on each painting and place them exactly on the right and left side for easy hanging of the painting. just. This way the painting stays flat and not tilted on one axis and you never have to adjust it again after installation.
