June 2020 update: Still using and loving these bottles. I broke a few by dropping them, they are still glass. I've also given a few away to others. I just received my 3rd box and am happy with the quality. I still don't know what to do with 16 other candies I don't use! I wasn't sure what to think of these bottles after reading some of the reviews but I made my decision. The bottles I received are made of thick glass. I once failed to clip my bottle/case to a Home Depot shopping cart. My bottle landed on the concrete floor. Without damage. Yes, they seem to have "waves" in them, but I like it. I had trouble unscrewing the lid a few times, but that's on me. You don't have to raise them like your life depends on it. A little coziness is enough to make a seal. About the mold under the silicone case. If you never remove the seal or wash them, you will definitely get this. I use a tiny eyeglass repair screwdriver, stick it under the gasket, and then bypass the cap. It will arrive soon. I wash the bottle, cap and silicone in hot soapy water. No questions. I have a bottle brush that fits perfectly. BTW I have a small hand blender which is great for blending in a bottle rather than breaking my wrists trying to shake it into submission. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered a second set. I usually premix my drinks and chill them. To be honest, I don't need sleeves for every single bottle, so my "excess" lives in the pantry. Of course I'm the only one using them so I don't need color coding for kids etc. For putting on and taking off the bottles, the sleeves have a small hole at the bottom so your bottle doesn't accidentally fall off. out of the sleeve, putting on and taking off the sleeve is a breeze.
